Recently, I moved to South Korea and have started working for Samsung Electronics. I’m excited about the new job and even more excited to work at one of the world’s leading consumer electronics companies. The scale and reach of this company compared to my previous places of employment is amazing. Re-locating and working abroad is not easy, but I find it immensely rewarding. I’m looking forward to a great time and hopefully I get to see as much of this part of the world as I can.

In just a few short weeks, I will be backpacking through Japan and parts of Korea for 23 days. I’m traveling with a few good friends and hopefully at the end of the trip, we’re still friends.

I am looking to purchase a netbook (ASUS 1005PE or Lenovo S10-3) to use as my blogging machine while I’m on the road so please keep your eye on my site for pictures (if I can figure out how to upload them) and for updates.  If worse comes to worst, I’ll use my trusty BlackBerry to update this site.
